Hi my name is Jill and I am 2 years old! My doctors tell me I have something that affects the way I hear so it is hard for me to hear soft sounds. I respond well to louder noises and communicate through gestures and smiles! I also have mild scoliosis and need some assistance walking but I don’t let that get me down! My caretakers love me and say I’m an extrovert who is always smiling and giggling. I love bright colors, swinging on the swing but most of all; I love to be held by my caretakers! My friends at Great Wall are working hard to find me a family that I can love forever!

Hi, I’m Benedict and I will be two years old very soon! My arms and legs aren’t like my friends’, but I don’t let that get me down. I can’t walk, but I find other ways to get around all on my own! My caretakers say I am confident and optimistic. I get along with my caretakers and friends really well. I try to say ‘Hi’ and ‘Bye’ to everyone as they come in and out of my room. When I am sad I love for my caretakers to throw me in the air and cuddle me.
Hi, my name is Susannah and I am 7 years old. I have something called cerebral palsy, which causes my muscles to be a little tense. When I first got to the orphanage I was unable to stand, but I have been working really hard to strengthen my muscles. Now I can walk up and down the stairs all by myself as long as I hold on to the railing. My caretakers say that I am improving greatly! I can’t wait to find my forever family!

My legs are a little bit weak, but I’ve been working really hard in therapy and my caretakers say I’m getting stronger! I like playing with other children my age and I enjoy listening to music. I’m not speaking yet and I’m a bit shy when I first meet strangers, but once I get to know you I will play with you all day!
